This Lens is about the five major warning signs of diabetes. The good news is that there is life after diabetes! However everyone needs to watch the warning signs of diabetes and keep in touch with your doctor as any of these develop! If you ignore these warnings, YOU ARE AN IDIOT. Take my word for it! I have been a diabetic for over 26 years and have seen first hand the possible results of neglecting the warning signs of diabetes. Last month, I was holding a funeral of a dear friend and church member who did not survive a kidney transplant. On the other hand, II do not want to be too pessimistic for I have also seen even more who have learned that you can control your diabetes without it controlling you! This is now my quest and I am slowly overcoming. By knowing the facts, keeping the faith, and exercising some discipline I am doing better and you can too. PLEASE see a doctor if you have any of these signs.
